The Pipefish is a cousin to the seahorse. This interesting fish is often found amongst seaweed which it uses to hide from predators. They are generally dark brown in colour and they blend in with their surroundings. This is known as camouflage. They feed mainly on mysids and other small crustaceans. They can be found in most sub tropical and tropical waters.
