Occurring world wide, this shark can grow up to 4 meters. The characteristic feature of the dusky shark is the distinct inter-dorsal ridge. These sharks are known to feed in packs, with a diet consisting of game and reef fish, juvenile sharks, crabs, squid, octopus and crayfish. With well developed fins, and teeth designed to tear flesh, this shark is a powerful predator.
