Tour Details

• Education Centre staff will escort each group of learners from their entrance to their exit from the precinct of Sea World.
• Your visit will follow a set programme that ensures the best educational value:
  • Penguin rookery
  • Turtle beach
  • Aquarium
  The duration of a visit to Sea World is two and half hours.
  N.B.: An area may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances

Conduct and Supervision

• Learners are required to wear school uniform for easy identification in the park so that they do not get lost and get left behind!
• Two educators per 20 learners will be admitted at no charge to supervise the learners for the full duration of the visit. A further educator per 20 learners will be admitted at R36.
  No additional adults may accompany the group without prior permission being obtained.
• Learners are expected to be considerate towards the rest of the public in the Park.
• Groups on an Education Concession visit to Sea World may not access Retail during this visit. They may access retail as a group before or after the visit.

Times

• Groups that arrive early will be asked to wait at the gate until their booked slot.
• Groups that arrive late for booked tours will be accommodated on the next time slot that becomes available, in order to accommodate the set number for any given time in the Park.
• Should a group arrive with numbers in excess of the booking, the excess numbers will only be permitted access if they do not exceed the maximum number of learners permitted in Sea World.

Food

• Packed lunches may be eaten in designated areas, as may food purchased within uShaka Marine World. Food purchased from outside of the uShaka Marine World complex is not allowed inside the Park.
• Menus will be forwarded on request if you require a snack in Sea World. No food purchased outside the Park will be allowed onto the premises for consumption. Groups may also bring their own lunch boxes.
