Hlabathi gives careful attention to her race-card selection

There was great excitement at uShaka Sea World this morning when resident Cape fur seal Hlabathi put her gaming skills to the test to select the winner in one of South Africa's premier horse-racing events, the Durban July, which takes place on Saturday 7 July at Greyville Racecourse.

According to Hlabathi, course favourite Jackson will be first past the post, with Vettel coming in second by a whisker. English Garden didn't warrant a second glance, nor did Ilha Bela.

A pre-July party will be celebrated in fine style on the Upper Deck at uShaka Marine World on Friday night. Entrance to the event is free and the music promises to be a real treat for all patrons.

uShaka is expecting visitors from all over South Africa this weekend as they arrive at the coast to celebrate July race day in true Durban style.
